Library Expansion Project Completed
The Bidii Schools library has been expanded and restocked, adding new shelving, seating and a growing collection of reference, fiction and Kiswahili titles for students across all levels.
The Bidii Schools library has undergone a significant expansion, with new shelving units, additional reading tables and an expanded catalogue of English and Kiswahili titles now available to students across all three levels of the school.
Deputy Director Ms. Consolata Shija noted: "Reading for pleasure and independent research are skills that carry students throughout their education and beyond. A well-stocked, comfortable library sends a clear message about how much we value learning."
All students have scheduled library lessons, and the library is open during lunch breaks and after school for independent study. Students are encouraged to suggest titles for acquisition through their class teachers.
