Life in our A-Level

A-Level / High School — Form 5 & 6

Our A-Level programme offers a range of subject combinations aligned with the Tanzanian national curriculum for Advanced Secondary Education. Small teaching groups, dedicated subject specialists and access to the school's full range of facilities — including the science laboratories, computer suite and library — ensure that every A-Level student is thoroughly prepared for the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE).

Subject Combinations Offered

Students select one of the following subject combinations according to their interests and university aspirations:

  • PCM — Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
  • PCB — Physics, Chemistry, Biology
  • CBG — Chemistry, Biology, Geography
  • EGM — Economics, Geography, Mathematics
  • HGE — History, Geography, Economics
  • HGL — History, Geography, Kiswahili Language
  • HKL — History, Kiswahili, Literature in English

Beyond the Classroom

A-Level students benefit from the same boarding facilities, sports grounds, clubs and farm activities as O-Level. Leadership opportunities — including prefect roles, club leadership and mentoring of junior students — help students develop the communication, teamwork and decision-making skills that universities and employers value.
