Learning That Goes Beyond the Classroom

At Bidii Schools, we believe that education is most powerful when it connects the classroom to the world beyond it. Our students grow vegetables on the school farm, build electrical circuits in the laboratory, debate ideas in the library and compete on the football pitch — all as part of a single, coherent vision of what a well-rounded education looks like.

Founded in Buswelu, Ilemela District in 2012, we now serve families across Mwanza and beyond at three levels: Primary School (Standard I–VII), O-Level Secondary (Form 1–4) and A-Level / High School (Form 5–6). Every student, regardless of background, religion or ability, is welcomed, supported and challenged to grow.

Why Bidii

Six Reasons Families Choose Bidii Schools

From our fully equipped laboratories to our productive school farm and warm boarding community, Bidii Schools offers an education that prepares students for responsible, rewarding lives.

Academic Excellence

A rigorous national curriculum delivered by qualified, experienced teachers who know their students individually. Small class sizes and close oversight from staff ensure no learner is left behind.

Hands-On Science

Fully equipped physics, chemistry and biology laboratories give students the practical skills they need for NECTA examinations and for careers in science, medicine and engineering.

School Farm & Agriculture

Our working school farm is a living classroom. Students plant, tend and harvest real crops, gaining practical skills in agriculture, nutrition and environmental stewardship.

Safe Boarding Community

Separate, well-supervised boarding houses for boys and girls, with live-in staff providing pastoral care around the clock in a safe and structured home-from-home environment.

Sport & Co-Curricular Life

Qualified games tutors, well-maintained sports grounds and seven active clubs — football, netball, volleyball, debating, science, arts and more — develop the whole person, not just the student.

Inclusive Admissions

Bidii Schools welcomes students regardless of tribe, colour, religion, social background or physical ability. A Pre-Form One orientation course helps incoming O-Level students settle in with confidence.

What Parents, Students and Alumni Say

My daughter joined Bidii Primary in Standard I and I have watched her grow into a confident, curious learner. The teachers know each child personally, and the farm and library activities have made her excited about coming to school every single day.
